Memorial Day makes our gaze linger - as well it should - on those who never come home. Thankfully, there are those who do.
Welcome home, to all who served overseas. This Republic cannot welcome you better than they did, but we welcome you - gladly - nonetheless.

Dammit....I hate watchin those, but can't seem to stop myself!
Reminds me of my own homecomings. Whatever problems separations and reunions can cause, that moment of being home safe and finding your loved ones safe is precious.
Funny how artillery and bullets just make a Marine mad...but a 6 year old girl can cut him off at the knees.
