Nothing to see here

Move along:
Azerbaijan has granted Israel access to airbases in its territory along Iran's northern border for potential use in a military strike against Iranian nuclear facilities, a report published Wednesday in Foreign Policy magazine quoted senior US officials as saying.
Must just be that Caspian Seaside resort property.  That stuff's crazy affordable ...

It's actually a pretty brilliant idea. If Iran wants to keep planes out of their airspace from Azerbaijan, they're going to have to spread their AA assets thin to still cover the paths from the Persian Gulf and Israel. Even if all they're doing is providing a place to land and stage SAR out of, Israel keeps Iran on their toes having to watch in another direction.

My one thought about Israel doing a series of air strikes is how they're going to do SEAD missions and still hope to get to their targets before they're dispersed.
