Thank you, Al Gore

As always, your Internet satisfies.  The Austin mini-blogmeet went off without a hitch last night.  I have to say that it's very cool indeed that a group of random anarcho-libertarian types could use your series of tubes to organize a meet up.

It is a bit ironic that we spent most of the time dissing the Big Government schemes of you and yours, after using said Big Government incubated program to pick date, time, and place.  But hey, Anarchists of the World, unite!  Err, or something.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who showed up, and we'll definitely have to do this the next time I'm out Austin way.  Maybe we can do shooty/'splody stuff, too.

Picture from here, which is pretty darn funny.  Written three years ago, and it's almost crazy prescient.  It's pretty SWF.  Mostly.

It was fun. I'll look into gun ranges for next time if we want to try for a blogshoot. I'll send you an e-mail with what I find out.

Nice meeting you all,
Josh

I agree, that was a lot of fun, and I am excited about the prospect of doing it again (perhaps with some shooty goodness added).

I can do some research into ranges as well. My friend Karl maintains a list here that might make for a good starting point.

My own notes are over here.

Oh God, I had hoped never to be reminded of that again. The Japanese went and made a porn comic featuring Barack and Hillary and now I'm having flashbacks. Where's the toilet? >_<
