Quote of the Day

From Radley Balko, on the Supreme Court nominee:
With Kagan, Supreme Court will get yet more diverse: It will have Catholics from Harvard or Yale, an African-American from Harvard or Yale, women from Harvard or Yale, a Hispanic from Harvard or Yale, and a Jew from Harvard or Yale.

While I was looking at schools after graduating High School, every report said such things as "Ivy league doesn't mean you are getting a better education." What Ivy League means is that you get connections.

And H/T Uncle, someone who wrote anti-gun briefs for the Clinton Administration including one restricting importation of of certain semi-automatic assault rifles, a deal to put child-safety locks on guns rather than risk a legislative showdown, and an executive order that required all federal law enforcement officers to install locks on their weapons... Hope and Change again.

Sorry, but I just came across a video made by some Yale students for recruiting. It's slightly entertaining, in a Liberal-Artsy kind of way.
