German Government advises people to stop using Internet Explorer

Wow. It's like they read Borepatch or something:
In a statement issued today, the German Federal Office for Security in Information Technology (known as BSI) recommends that all Internet Explorer users switch to an alternative browser. They may resume using Explorer after a fix is issued by Microsoft for a critical vulnerability that has been implicated in the Chinese cyberattack against Google.
The BSI is a pretty big deal in Germany. What's interesting is how they say it might be OK to go back to IE after Microsoft gets the fix out. This is a big vote of no confidence in Microsoft's fix-things-once-a-month Patch Tuesday strategy.

If you ever wonder why I use firefox + adblock plus + noscript + flashblock, this is it. Too much money in blackhatting to be ignored.
